I am an experienced language teacher who has taught students of all backgrounds. While earning my Masters in Education at the Harvard University Graduate School of Education, I learned the best practices for teaching languages. As lover of language learning, I speak eight languages and I have lived and worked in the US, France, South Korea, Taiwan, Brazil, and Indonesia. In addition to languages, I have experience teaching Math, History, Writing, SAT, and IB courses. I hope to bring you the best personalized lessons to meet your learning goals!
When designing a personalized lesson plan for students, I always focus on my students' interests and goals. I love to use popular music and current events to keep students engaged and I create media to help students understand concepts. For example, when Skyping, I use the screen share function and drawing software to help students brainstorm and visualize key ideas. For writing classes, I find that cloud documents such as Google Documents are perfect for helping students draft and edit their work. In addition, I type frequent notes during the lesson in the chat window so students can review vocabulary and lesson topics after the class. Finally, I provide student progress reports and invite student feedback to help improve my lessons.

I provide all of my class texts free of charge via email or Skype uploads. I use Google Docs to create many lesson materials for my students as well.
