About Quiltmaking 101
Create a sampler quilt, one technique at a time, that will help you learn to make a quilt from A to Z. Whether you’re a beginner, or a seasoned quilt maker, this class will help you to learn, and refresh – or hone – your skills. I’ll bet that you’ve never taken a class quite like this one.
Quiltmaking 101 is a ten-week class that will take you on a quilt journey. This sampler of quilt techniques includes:
Strip-piecing
half square triangles
hand applique (don’t be afraid of this – it’s super easy, and not needle turn!)
hand piecing
y-seam construction
drafting
templates
layouts
finishing are only a part of it.
This is an in-depth class for every level of quilter.
This class is limited to 12 students.
There is a $30 materials kit fee which includes shipping and has been added to the class price.

The class will meet for ten weekly 150-min live online sessions at 6 pm ET | 3 pm PT | 22:00 UTC on the schedule below. The first session is on August 31 (skips Sep 21 and Oct 26).

How It Works
Students can connect to the online platform using a tablet or computer with reliable internet. To actively participate online students also need a webcam with microphone. The class is covered by the Lessonface Guarantee.

Annie Smith
Annie is a fifth generation Californian, now located in Fort Worth, Texas. Her love of quilting went from hobby to profession in 1984. While working in Silicon Valley for twenty years, she honed her teaching skills on-the-job as a Customer Service Excellence instructor and teaching quilting classes at the local quilt shop.
