Discover tales and folklore from haunted hills and valleys. Use these as prompts to create or develop short stories and verse from the dark shadows of your imagination. Share with fellow story lovers from the safety of your home.
This class is presented in collaboration with John C. Campbell Folk School and Lessonface. Class capacity is 12 students. Registration closes on November 14, 2023. Students are invited to attend a large group Orientation and Closing Ceremony to connect with various classes online.

The class will meet for four weekly 80-min live online sessions on Mondays at 7 pm ET | 4 pm PT on the schedule below. The first session is on November 20.
The final session will be open to the public for students to perform.
Enrolled students receive 30-day access to the video recordings of the classes.
How It Works
Enroll above to save your spot in the class. Lessonface will send you a confirmation right away, and a Zoom link 24 hours before the class start time. You can log into your Lessonface dashboard to access class materials, communicate with your instructor, join the live Zoom session, and access the class recordings and chat transcript afterward.
Refund Policy: To cancel an enrollment or request a refund, contact support@lessonface.com. For 30+ days before, we refund 95%. Between 30 and 5 days, receive a 75% refund. No refunds within 5 days of class start date. Materials kit fees are non-refundable.

Lyn Ford
Lynette (Lyn) Ford, an American storyteller, teaching artist, author and creative narrative workshop presenter was the first storyteller in the state of Ohio to be nominated for a Governor's Award for the Arts. She is a regular performer at regional and national storytelling festivals and conferences, including the National Storytelling Festival, Hawaii's Talk Story Festival and the Timpanogos Storytelling Festival. Lyn has also shared keynote presentations, performances and workshops in Australia and Ireland, and for the Transformative Language Arts Network's and Ohio Literacy Resource Center's annual conferences and events.
