About The Advancing Pianist
Welcome to The Advancing Pianist with Luba Dolgolpolsky! In this class, students will be exposed to a variety of pieces to enrich their repertoire from pop-oriented artists and bands like The Beatles, and Beyonce or Lady Gaga to the classical world of piano with Beethoven and Bach or even to the exciting songs of Frank Sinatra and Ella Fitzgerald, jazz standards and chord voicings.
Geared towards students who are feeling competent on the piano and ready to advance their skills, this class also provides an opportunity for students to workshop their own material with a teacher.

How It Works
Enroll from this page and we will send you the Zoom link to join. Students can connect to the live session using a tablet or computer with reliable internet. Great class! Luba is an excellent instructor for what basically ended up being a private lesson. I gained many insights on playing a slightly more difficult arrangement with rhythm and timing changes. This is the kind of class that we need to see more of on Piano Pass.

LUBA is a professional singer and pianist who has over 20 years of experience as a performer and teacher. She earned her Master’s Degree in Music Education from Columbia University, Teachers College, and her undergraduate degree from the prestigious New School Jazz and Contemporary Music Program in New York City.
