Lessonface Mandolin Teacher of the Year in 2018 and 2019. I teach all styles of mandolin from bluegrass to ethnic and everything in between. I can help beginners get started and show experienced players how to fine tune their sound.

I have been playing mandolin for the past 40 years and have been teaching for the past 20 years. I have played in bluegrass bands in Colorado, Pennsylvania, Michigan and New York. I have been a contributing writer for Mandolin Magazine, and I was the founder of the modern day Pittsburgh Mandolin Orchestra. During that time I have always made a point of taking mandolin lessons and workshops from the top players in the world and I try to share what I have learned when I teach others in both individual lessons and workshops. I play all styles from bluegrass to ethnic music.
