Guitar for Singers
This ten-session live, interactive, group class is for singers who would like to improve their guitar skills. Classes are held via live video conference, and are also recorded for enrolled students to re-watch later -- and so you won't miss a beat if you need to miss a class. The first of the 10 weekly sessions is Wednesday, January 25th, from 7-7:45 pm.
As a singer, being able to accompany yourself on the guitar opens up a whole new world of opportunity. You will be self sufficient, more marketable, and a better musician. This class presents an organized approach to basic guitar and gaining the coordination necessary to accompany your voice. With materials ranging from beginner to intermediate for each subject this class is suited for students of various levels. Here are some of the topics we will cover:

ABOUT THE TEACHER MATT MACAULAY
Matt Macaulay is an American professional Jazz guitarist and singer-songwriter. He has been teaching music to students of all ages, privately and in groups, since 1997. After graduating from William Paterson University with a Bachelors Degree in Jazz Performance, Matt spent 10 years in New York City working as a freelance musician and operating the Macaulay Guitar Studio. As a guitarist, Matt has performed extensively around the East Coast of the United States and has also released three albums of original songs under his own name.

HOW IT WORKS
Students are able to attend by joining over the Lessonface high performing video conference platform. The video stream will be recorded for the enrolled students' later review.
