In today’s digital world, I want to show you how to use a soft haired ink brush to draw beautiful Chinese characters and paintings, and I want to bring this ancient art form into your life. The beauty of this art form increases our awareness, it teaches us how to breathe in a busy modern world. Once you have learned some basics, you will definitely be able to express yourself through this art form. The class will meet for eight weekly 90-min live online sessions on Wednesdays at 1 pm ET | 10 am PT | 17:00 UTC on the schedule below. The first session is on June 30.

How It Works

I am offering lessons in FOUR categories: Composition, Piano performance, Mandarin language, and Chinese calligraphy and ink brush art. I was born and raised in Beijing, China. I received my education and degrees from Columbia University, Juilliard School, New England Conservatory of Music, Stony Brook University and Cleveland State University.
