Introduction to Rock Guitar Soloing

About Introduction to Rock Guitar Soloing

If you wanna learn how to light up your fretboard like your guitar heroes, this class is for you! In this class we'll be studying a solo each week from a different guitar hero starting in the 1950's through the early '90's.

You will learn staple licks and phrases from some of rock's most popular solos. I'll cover the scales & techniques used in these solos, and show you how to improvise your own leads. If Berry, Clapton, Page, Gibbons, Cantrell, Young, Iommi, and Slash are some of the players you look up to, then this class is for you.

Over the course of 8 weeks, we'll cover the scales used, finger exercises, and 8 blistering solos from some of rock guitar's greatest players. Learning solos that helped define rock guitar will help you develop your own style, sharpen your chops and teach you how to write your own material while learning solos from some of the masters that wrote the book on rock guitar.

This class is limited to 30 students.
