About Multi-Style Traditional Slow Jam
In this class, I will lead fiddle tunes and songs from various traditional music genres including bluegrass, old time, and Irish. The tunes will be played several times at a slow tempo to give people a chance to catch on, and then we'll gradually work up the tempo.
- - Become more comfortable learning tunes by ear on the fly
- - Gain exposure to new tunes and songs from different genres
- - Playing familiar songs along with me in a jam session setting
Teens and Adults
Intermediate and up. Everyone is welcome, but those who already have a basic repertoire and knowledge of learning tunes by ear and jamming will feel more comfortable
The class will meet for four weekly 55-min live online sessions on Wednesdays at 5 pm ET | 2 pm PT | 21:00 UTC on the schedule below. The first session is on June 16.

How It Works
Students can connect to the online platform using a tablet or computer with reliable internet. To actively participate online students also need a webcam with microphone. The class is covered by the Lessonface Guarantee.

I am a multi-instrumentalist with a passion for bluegrass and old time music. I love to perform and have had the opportunity to share the stage with many of my hero's. Over my years of learning and playing this music, I have been taught and mentored by many amazing musicians, which has inspired me to want to teach and mentor other musicians. I have performed with my bluegrass band, Ghost Sugar, in venues all over Maryland and beyond, including the Gordon Center in Owings Mills, MD.
