About Soap Felting
Want to start felting? Learn to felt wool with this felting project to make felted soaps. What is a felted soap? It is soap with wool wrapped around it and then wet felted. The end result is a bar of soap that has its own soft washcloth built in! Multiple family members are welcome to share in the class as long as they are using the same tablet or computer. Parents of children age 7 and under must supervise the child during class.
This Fiber Arts Seminar is offered as part of the 2021 Maryland Sheep and Wool Festival and is limited to 15 enrollments. The deadline to register for this class is April 15th, 2021.
Class Materials Needed
All needed class materials that the student doesn't already have on hand will be provided. The instructor will email students to make the necessary arrangements.
Ages 5 to Adult
Single session on Saturday, May 1, at 12:30 pm ET | 9:30 am PT | 16:30 UTC.
Enrolled students receive 30-day access to the video recordings of the class.
How It Works
Multiple members of the same household can together attend the Zoom class session on a single computer or tablet with a single enrollment. To actively participate online students also need a webcam with microphone. Participants under age 16 should be enrolled by their parent or guardian. Participants under age 7 should be supervised during class. Confirmation of booking is sent upon enrollment, and a reminder email with Zoom link is sent 24 hours before the class start time. The instructor will be given enrolled students' emails and be in touch to make arrangements about materials needed. The class is covered by the Lessonface Guarantee.
