About Theatre Power! Summer 2023
Looking for a fun activity for the summer? Welcome to Theatre Power!
In this 6 week class, we will explore using our voices and our body language as tools for self-expression, learn healthy vocal techniques for singing and performing, and encourage collaboration and self-confidence in a positive environment through virtual drama games and activities.
Each week we’ll be learning popular kids songs from the stage and screen and use our new drama skills to act them out. With some imagination, we’ll practice creating, acting, and re-acting as different characters encouraging empathy for others and seeing different perspectives.
After the last class, we’ll have a special, free Zoom performance session where students can invite their friends and family to watch them shine as they share new skills and knowledge gained over the course of this class!
This class is limited to 15 students.
Class Goals
- Goal 1: Learn about healthy vocal production techniques while learning fun songs
- Goal 2: Practice creating characters and different perspectives
- Goal 3: Grow self-confidence as we learn to make our own choices

Both absolute beginners and students with theatre and voice experience welcome!

Kati Falk-Flores
