Lessonface.com, Inc is seeking content writers for the creation of academic learning materials. Headquartered in the West Village, NYC, Lessonface connects students with great teachers for live lessons and classes online.
Content writers will write and develop assessment-style questions for K-12 academic subjects and standardized tests. Preference will go to writers with experience creating content and writing questions for the Humanities and Sciences (especially for SAT, ACT, IB and AP curricula) but candidates with experience in all K-12 subjects and tests are welcome to apply.
Writers will gain project-based experience creating learning materials for use with world-class educators. Lessonface currently focuses on music and will be expanding to language and academic tutoring this fall.
Depending on the writer’s interests, experience and abilities, the position can potentially lead to tutoring opportunities and content development in other areas (e.g. video, animation).
Lessonface content writers will be helping aspiring learners connect to mentors and learning tools. This is an independent contractor position on a part-time basis that will be performed remotely.
