Since 2013, Lessonface has connected students with great teachers for music and language lessons online, delivering on our mission to help students achieve their goals while treating teachers equitably.*

As an established leader in online music lessons, we are seeing record growth and interest, and are looking for a marketing director to join us and help continue to spread the word about our platform. We are a small team. There is significant room for your growth with us, as we together enable teachers to teach online, putting students on a path to better express themselves through music, arts, and language, while enjoying the time spent along the way.

ABOUT THE IDEAL CANDIDATE 

  • Marketer with experience developing & launching programs and products
  • Advocate of lifelong learning, music and arts 
  • Professional and collaborative
  • Able to contribute own ideas and to enthusiastically adopt, envision, and deliver on whatever is the prevailing strategy
  • Knowledge of advertising platforms including Adwords, Facebook, and other paid media 
  • Greater enthusiasm for content marketing and ability to produce compelling content
  • History of building partnerships, whether in an organization, social, or creative endeavor
  • Visually precise, design chops a big plus
  • Grammatically perfect, probably have qualms with this copy and ideas of how to better express these qualifications
  • Willing to use (& experienced with at least some of): Creative Cloud, MS Office, Canva, Airtable, Premiere, Final Cut, Notion, Slack, Mailchimp, Jira
