About

I have been a professional musician and educator for roughly 15 years. I’ve studied at Berklee College of Music and hold a Masters of Music from USC Thornton in Studio/Jazz Guitar. As a performer I have worked in many musical settings, from straight ahead or avant-garde jazz to blues, rock, pop, funk and classical.  I currently do session work in the Los Angeles area and perform regularly with my organ trio as well as various rock and indie projects and musical theater.

Teaching Style

I like to tailor lessons to each students interests and ability level. I encourage a solid background in musical fundamentals and like to keep lessons progressive and organized, while still maintaining enough flexibility to keep things fresh and fun.
