I adapt my teaching style to fit the individual needs and goals of my students. I like to give my students a strong background in music theory to enable them to listen and think critically about the styles of music they wish to focus on. I like to invent fun and new ways to help students overcome technical barriers and I love teaching students to adjust their technique so they can play their bass with ease. I want my students to have a greater musical understanding, and I want them to leave lessons feeling like they have an easier time expressing themselves on the bass.
