Audio Recording and Music Production:
I want to teach you to be able to create great recordings from your own home! We will use a combination of textbook study, instructor demonstrations and internet resources, always answering your questions. We will have discussions surrounding what the real world applications are of what you are learning. I can also provide advice on monetizing your creations, I have many years experience in music licensing.
Lessons are not specific to any DAW software. Please see the curriculum tab.
No matter what instrument or type of music you play, learning music theory brings meaning to the notes and chord symbols on your sheet music and makes you a well rounded musician. Would you know what to do if a fellow musician asked you to substitute the VI minor chord for the I? Easy enough once you learn theory. We will follow the book(s) through a series of units, lessons and exercises to become proficient in music theory!
