Performs as singer/songwriter, musical theater director and accompanist.Currently teaches Private Piano and Voice at Sanford School in Hockessin, Delaware as well as in home studio. Formerly taught for 12 years at Music and Arts in Wilmington, DE. Delaware Division of Arts fellow for solo performance. 93.7 Hometown Heroes Best singer/songwriter. Have released numerous CDs of original music and have my own band, Lori Citro band . Included on soundtrack of "The Reprogramming of Jeremy" and "One Little Finger"(on Believe with Julian Lennon) by Grammy winning producer Kevin Mackie. Accompanied for numerous musicals in local theaters and schools including "Little Shop of Horrors", "Mary Poppins", "Mamma Mia", "Seussical", "Pirates of Penzance, "Jekyll and Hyde" to name a few. I specialize in beginner to advance classical piano training and vocal training for auditions and performance and training for ABRSM testing. I believe once a child has the foundations of theory that we are partners in choosing music that they will love to play and perform. I believe if people like what they play they will practice! I love to write and play music myself.

For beginner piano I recommend the Bastien Method specifically because they learn theory as they grow and a chordal method that will have them playing songs they recognize quickly. I also can guide students through ABRSM exams if they want a more rigorous method with benchmarking.
