 I am confident in my ability to provide all students with an excellent education and am valuable to the students within LessonFace

 My teaching career has been centered on a deep understanding of best practices, reading development, diagnosis, and pedagogy. Through observations and participation, I have had many opportunities to see varied teaching styles and philosophies being implemented in the classroom. These experiences have molded my teaching style into an inquiry-based, student-centered learning experience.

My teaching style encompasses the awareness that all learners have extremely different learning styles and needs. In order to meet the needs of all learners I incorporate a magnitude of differentiation into my classroom. My greatest strengths as an educator include inspiring and motivating students to not only learn but also grow. I actively engage their minds through the use of manipulatives, cooperative learning, and inquiry-based learning. In addition, I write lesson plans and tailor each lesson to my students’ needs and interests and demonstrate the connections between the classroom and the “real world”. Furthermore, I maintain contact with the parents on my students to promote participate of parents, reinforce education at home and boost-students self-confidence and self-esteem.
