Alan Pham

I have been playing violin for about 14 years, classically trained through the Suzuki method.  Although I don't quite go to a music school, I enjoy teaching several of my colleagues violin as well as guiding violinists within the Discord platform.  I am currently working towards a degree in Mechanical Engineering at the California Maritime Academy while studying the violin.

I am very supportive in what each student wants to do. Learning any instrument is very inefficient unless there is a lot of motivation and inspiration behind practice. Because of this, I always design my lessons around what my students want to practice, whether it be a specific piece or a technique. If they want to learn something crazy like Paganini or something, I assign something that clearly is relevant to Paganini.
