Alberto Restano

Hello, hello! My name is Alberto and I'm from Argentina. Currently living in Buenos Aires. I've been teaching guitar, bass and music for the past twelve years.

I've been a guitar and bass player for the last eighteen years. Playing in and out of bands and writing and performing my own and other people's music.
I've studied in two conservatories in Buenos Aires. First I attended SAdeM for five years and learnt the basics of guitar playing, harmony and music language. I also studied latin american folkloric music, jazz and rock.
After that period of time I went to study at EMPA and spent another four years amongst jazz, folk, rock and blues musicians of all kinds. That's where I solidified my love for learning and teaching music.
On the side of both music schools I never stopped having private lessons with many and great teachers such as Pablo Carvalho, Juan Benitez, Rodolfo Gorosito and Sergio Alvarez amongst others.

I currently play in a Buenos Aires based hard rock band called El Buen Salvaje were I play guitar and perform my own compositions.
We've played in countless venues for the past eleven years and opened shows to bands like Deep Purple, Guns n' Roses and Living Colour when they visited my city.
