Alec Glass
About
Hello! My name is Alec Glass, I'm 24 years old and I am a cellist from Los Angeles. I've been playing cello for 14 years and teaching it privately for 5 years and in local middle and high schools for 4 years. In 2021, I will receive a Bachelor's of Music in Cello Performance from California State University Northridge where I am the cellist in their Honor's Quartet. During my time at Moorpark College I was hired as a Music Theory Tutor and I've been tutoring that as well ever since!
I enjoy catering my teaching style to each student's goals and speeds. I specialize in classical music but feel completely comfortable arranging pieces for my students in all genres for them to really explore the instrument and music how they want to. I'm great with student's of any age, with the majority of my students ranging from 13-30.
