Teaching Style
During lessons I'm always thinking how to solove student's problem and gave him model for soloving future problems. Those solutions are based on my own experience and conclusions and on those I learned in literature. Also, with both performing and music theory departments finished, I can help to students connecting and growing up in both fields.
It is very important to know how lesson will be held: I usually start from macro plan (and general difficulties) and after soloving fundamental problems, I go with student to details and micro plan. I'm always trying to use both simple and professional terms - first to explain clearly and second to develop student's vocabulary and knowledge. I'm always asking student if he understand what I'm talking about and what some terms mean, because my biggest satisfaction as teacher is that my students make progress and achive their goals. Student must get the maximum from the teacher, every lesson.
I'm very patient with small children.
You are always free to choose your program and pieces you'll play or I can help you, depending on your music taste and prefered genre. I'm open to work with both solo performers and ensembles.
