About
I have been playing music for over 23 years and teaching full time for over 5. I enjoy watching my students develop into expressive and whole musicians.
I played piano and harp equally through high school and received my degree in Harp Performance from the Jacob's School of Music at Indians University under the instruction of Susann McDonald in 2016. I have had the opportunity to perform and compete at international competitions in Israel, Korea, Serbia, The Netherlands, and more. Currently I am a full time teacher and musician based in Norfolk, VA. I play for various local orchestras, ensembles and at private events.
I blend my background in the Suzuki method with the traditional to develop students as whole musicians, equipping them with the aural and rudimentary skills necessary for talent development.

I use a number of different texts such as the Suzuki books, Faber Piano Adventures but ultimately work towards students playing music from the classic literature.
