Alexandria Baker

I am a classically trained saxophonist who has completed my AMEB Eighth grade and is currently working towards my AMusA. I briefly studied classical saxophone at the Queensland Conservatorium of Music for two years, however I had to retire early due to injury (fully recovered now).

My passion for teaching has landed me 8 years of experience in the industry, teaching privately, at schools and independent music institutions. My experience is bountiful, and I enjoy every second of it! My passion for learning and teaching especially shines through in my lessons. Aside from my saxophone teaching background which I specialise in, I also teach other woodwinds including flute and clarinet. I also have experience teaching/playing cello, and electric bass; however, I don’t teach advanced players in that region, only beginner and intermediate.
