I am a musician and drum instructor from India. I have been playing since 2006 and completed Grade 8 from Trinity College, London in 2012. I have played a number of live shows across India with my band 'Passages' as well as with other acts. I have 8 years of teaching experience. Over the past 8 years, I've taught in multiple music schools as well as academic schools across Delhi NCR. Some of them include Cambridge School(Delhi), Sriram School(Gurgaon), IMD(Gurgaon), MMC(Noida), Musicology (Noida) etc.
I am constantly searching for the best way to explain a concept in a very simple, easy to understand manner. My goal is always to push the student to do better than what they think they are capable of. And of course I like to keep it fun cause at the end of the day it's all about having fun on your instrument. I also prepare students for Trinity and Rockschool exams if he/she is interested (it's not mandatory). I've taught kids starting from 5-6 year olds to 50-60 year old students, which enables me to understand the needs of an individual very well, as certain teaching methods work for some but might not work for others, in such situations I find ways to deliver the information in a simple and easy to grasp manner. I've taught group/one on one lessons. I try my best to put myself in the students shoes and make drum lessons fun and a good learning experience. I like to see students be able to play songs they really wanted to learn. Watching students reach their goals is most rewarding to me.
