About
I began my music path in my hometown Kranj where I already started performing and winning the highest awards in the competitions. In high school - Conservatory for music and ballet Ljubljana - I continued the tradition of competitions, including winning the Slovenian national competition. I recorded couple of concerts and for all the achievements I was awarded the conservatory's award. Recently I received my Bachelor degree at Higher conservatory for music in Vigo in Spain and finished my Erasmus+ exchange at Mozarteum university in Salzburg in Austria, where I also passed the entrance exams for Masters degree. Throughout the years of schooling I played in many chamber groups with different instruments.
I would like to share my passion and knowledge of classical guitar and music in general with people, who would like to know more about it.
Teaching Style
Every student is different so I would accommodate the way of teaching and the repertoire to each individual and their liking.
The topics I would like to present to my students are the basics of the guitar: position of the body, the guitar and both hands, the fret board and how to move on it, different techniques for the left hand, such as slurs and chord positions, different techniques for the right hand, such as apoyando and tirando plucking, strumming, legato and staccato playing, arpeggios and scales, how to accompany...; the guitar repertoire from the renaissance, until the modern music and different styles that the student would like to play; and the basics of musical theory that play an important role in performing: rhythm, dynamics, agogics and harmony. All the topics would be introduced with a composition that contains the specific technical or musical element.
