Hello and welcome to my studio!
As a music educator, I facilitate a safe, welcoming environment for students to learn and attain their goals.
I have been teaching private lessons for nearly 10 years and have helped my students achieve their goals. Whether it be making 1st chair in their highschool or winning a competition, they all have grown as musicians and fall deeper in love with music. From 2018 through 2021 I had the priviledge of serving as the Brass Assistant for a 4-Time Nationals and 6-Time States winning highschool competition marching band.
I recently recieved two awards through Towson University which were both performance based: The Brass Talent Award and the James L. Dunbar Jr. Memorial Scholarship Competition.
I look forward to helping you attain your goals as well!
My students grow their creative capabilities by exploring music that challenges them to become better musicians. I incorporate music that you want to play such as pop, classical, or music from various cultures while still going over the fundamentals of their instrument. I also encourage questions during lessons so that less mistakes are made during concerts and playing tests.
If you are interested in auditioning for competitive groups, I teach not only the music for the audition, but the process of auditioning and how to overcome any nervousness or stress. This process has helped my students win states, county, district, and youth orchestra positions.

I teach many students through LessonFace and am happy to be a part of some truly spectacular results from my trumpet/trombone students. My lesson plans are designed for all ability levels ranging from complete beginner to professional performer.
