Andrija Mirković, born on 14. 11. 1992 in Valjevo, Serbia, began his clarinet studies with professors Dušan Božić and Željko Rusinović at the age of 11, and later continued his studies with prof. Ljubiša Jovanović. In that period of high school, he has been awared with several first prizes and Laureates (Laureat - International competition Davorin Jenko - Belgrade, Serbia; Laureat - Interational competition of woodwinds in Požarevac, Serbia;  Laureat - International competition Hopes, Talent, Masters in Albena, Bulgaria; Laureat on competition Dušan Protić - Belgrade, Serbia) .

After successfully finished Bachelor degree in Niš (Serbia), and passed entrance exam for Master degree in Ljubljana (Slovenia), where he is currently in the second year of Master studies in class of prof. Jože Kotar.

During the studies, Andrija performed as a soloist with ZORT orchestra, Niš symphony orchestra, Academic orchestra of Faculty of Arts - Niš  and Concertante chamber orchestra .

He performed in various chamber ensembles - including clarinet quartet Iljušin, duo Nebotičnik, Ebony clarinet orchestra, string quartet Miss, etc.

Andrija performed in many different countries: Serbia, Montenegro, Macedonia, Slovenia, Croatia, Bulgaria, Italy, Turkey, Germany, Spain, Portugal, Hungary.

He participated in many masterclasses of renowned clarinetists, such as Mate Bekavac, Aleksandar Tasić, Milan Rericha, Paolo Beltramini, Bruno di Girolamo, Stephanie Zelnik, Nuno Pinto, David Griffitz and Ljubiša Jovanović. In the school year 2017/ 2018  and  2018/ 2019 he got a place on a reserve list of Gustav Mahler Jugendorchester.

Teaching style depending on student skills and nature. Everything lesson is easier if the teacher can develop it an interesting way.  As second or even first important thing can be motivation which students get from professors. I prefer to find a way to fix problems which students have but my own way.
