Andy Davis

Andy Davis calls New England style contra and square dances, and plays accordion and piano for traditional dances. His accordion repertoire includes New England, French Canadian and other northern dance tunes.

His specialty as a dance leader is calling community events, inclusive of all abilities. For over 30 years, Andy has taught music and dance in Vermont public schools, summer camps, and at weddings, parties, and community gatherings. Also for 30 years, he was also part of the group, Nowell Sing We Clear, a Vermont-based group that performed and recorded mid-winter carols and customs. Andy is a founding member of New England Dancing Masters, a publisher of dance books and recordings for teaching of New England traditional dance.
