My name is Angela Brown and I have taught/tutored mathematics in Alabama for 45 years including:
6 years junior high teacher (Repton School and Red Level School) teaching 7th and 8th grade mathematics, General Math, and Algebra I
25 years high school teacher (Repton School, Red Level School, and Andalusia High School) teaching General Math, Algebra I, Algebra II, Geomety, Advanced Math, and A.P Calculus
15 years adjunct teacher at Lurleen B. Wallace Community College teaching Pre-Algebra, Algebra, PreCalculus, Trigonometry, and Calculus I
23 years and currently employed as a mathematics tutor at Lurleen B. Wallace Community College tutoring Pre-Algebra, Algebra, PreCalculus, Trigonometry, Calculus I, II, and III, and Statistics
40 years private mathematics tutor working with 5th and 6th grade students, junior high students, high school students, and community college students
1 year online mathematics tutor working with Algebra students and nursing students
I received my B.S. in mathematics from Troy University(1975) and my Masters degree in mathematics education from Auburn University(1980). I enjoy working with students and would love to work with you.
I will diagnose what is keeping you from being successful in mathematical problem solving and I will help guide you through the learning process. I am patient and have worked with many students of all levels and abilities. I love to see students succeed.
I have a B.S. degree in mathematics from Troy University (1975) and a Masters of Mathematics Education from Auburn University (1980).
