Hi, my name is Angela and I am a singer and acting coach! For my formal training, I earned my B.F.A. at Cornish College of the Arts, with a focus on Opera. Subsequently, I trained at CAP21 musical theater conservatory in New York City. After graduation, I worked in a Film and TV management agency in NY, working with actors who went on to book key roles on Broadway, network TV, films, and streaming episodics! I’ve been performing since the age of 13, in wide-ranging musicals, plays, and vocal competitions. My credits include; Jekyll and Hyde, the Musical, Miss Saigon, One World, a New musical, and most recently, Hamlet, and As You Like it. On the directing side, I also have 3 years of experience directing and working with actors, singers, and magicians of different levels, from beginners to trained professionals. I believe my diverse experience offers a fresh and insightful perspective on coaching with you!
What I offer as a singing coach
Professionally, I’ve been coaching voice students for the past 7 years, in vocal technique, opera, musical theater, and pop music. As a vocal coach, I've helped students succeed in understanding their voices, finding their own unique sound, and learning the proper technique for studying each piece. I work with beginners through advanced students, including both children and adults. We will work on material that you’ll love to sing. Along the way, I will teach a bit of music theory, so that my students can apply these skills to their musical studies in the future!
What I offer as an acting coach
As an acting coach, I offer students a chance to work on audition materials or simply to learn more about acting! My experience working for a film and TV office in New York, has honed my insight into what is necessary for actors to succeed and land key roles in top projects featured on Netflix, Hulu, Amazon, and Broadway!
