Anyone wanting to play the Oboe or learn Music Theory is welcome! I am an experienced oboist and a teacher. I have a Doctorate degree in oboe and minor in Music Theory (Yale, University of Southern California, and University of Texas at Austin) and I have been teaching since 2009. I am currently on faculty at colleges and schools teaching students of all levels! My lessons are fun, interactive and intuitive. I am open to discussing about your goals and needs. Oboe is not hard! My lessons are fun, interactive and intuitive. You will also learn Music Theory, and Ear Training (singing, listening). We will work from the basics, then build on to musical phrasing and techniques that will help you play the oboe with more confidence. Remember, oboe is just a tool for you to express yourself in music! We can also learn reedmaking :) I will walk you through each steps to help you be reed independent.
