Annie Whittaker Pais

Raised in a studio near New York City by two artist parents and introduced to the world of art at an early age; I have been painting my entire life. I’ve been teaching private classes for more than forty years- and have worked with three generations of some families! I have also taught in my community, at our local museums, in a senior living facility, and loved working with foster kids and through hospice. I introduced plein air events to Florida in 2002 as part of a creative non-profit I founded and directed. My love of art and my community have overlapped in countless ways. I have quite literally been involved with the arts in almost every role imaginable. I also love teaching at the Folk School so much; it’s one of my favorite places on Earth!
