Antonio Ilioski

Antonio Ilioski, born in 2003, Skopje, Republic of Macedonia.

At the age of 8 he started playing the cello at the Primary Music School - DMBUC "Ilija Nikolovski Luj” Skopje. Instrument: Cello: Class: Prof. Marija Kocharova Uzunova.

Participation

From 2013 to 2021 he participated in 53 competitions, most of them international, as well as in state and regional competitions. The competitions were held in the Republic of Macedonia,Serbia,Bulgaria, Malaysia, United States of America, Slovenia and Italy.. In some of them as a soloist,, but also in a duo with a piano. In 47 of the international competitions he won the 1st and 2nd place. He won the 4th prize at the Antonio Janigro International Junior Competition in his category and the 3rd Prize at the International Competition in Slovenia Antonio also won the 1stprize at the International Persatuan Chopin Society Competition in Malaysia. He has participated in 5 international competitions as a duo with a piano and on 4 of them have won the 1st place.

In high school he is the leader cellist of the orchestra at the DMBUC Ilija Nikolovski Luj- Skopje.
