Recently she has performed with esteemed choirs in both England, Croatia, and Wales.
Arden has taught piano and voice in many different individual, small group, and classroom settings. She has worked online via Zoom through Lessonface since March 2020 and previously gave in-person lessons at the Delaware Arts Conservatory. Arden has also interned at the Choir School of Delaware and has had multiple classroom teaching experiences through full time teaching, summer camps, and volunteer work.

"Music and teaching are my two greatest passions. I strongly believe that music is a valuable skill that has the power to change lives and bring joy to many. I hope that I can be a part of you and/or your child's musical journey and help instill a life-long love of music."

I've taught piano, voice, and general music in a variety of settings from classroom to private lessons. I have experience teaching choir sectionals, in classrooms, as well as individual students. I currently work as a piano and vocal instructor teaching private lessons at the Delaware Arts Conservatory.

For piano students, I teach mostly "by-the-book" while accommodating student interest and preferred repertoire. To me, method books are a tangible resource to track student progress and introduce concepts systematically as they advance.

For voice students, I teach piece by piece, offering students repertoire appropriate for their age, voice type, interests, and musicianship abilities. I firmly believe that every student should be introduced to classical voice technique as a basis for healthy vocal production that can be applied to other styles of singing. However, every voice is unique and should be taught as such through repertoire that fits their gifts.

For piano students, I teach from the Faber Method Book series. This series offers a comprehensive approach to music reading, piano technique, and theory using fun exercises and pieces to introduce new concepts. It is a fan favorite and is quite a thorough series for any beginner.
