Bokun Wei

I was a student at UCL who has a keen interest in flute performing and teaching. As part of an orchestra/band, I have performing experience in the Royal Albert Hall, Barbican Concert Hall, Royal Festival Hall and toured in Sweden, Germany, Belgium, etc., as well as a number of solo recitals performed in London. I have been giving private flute lessons during my time at university and my students have all received excellent results in their ABRSM grade exams.

As a flute player with 10+ years of performing experience, I take an interest-based approach to motivate students to improve their skills and techniques. I understand the difficulties or possible mistakes students would make because I have been in their position, so I can lead them to the right direction without making them wasting too much time figuring out themselves. I also believe that flute learning should be fun and lead to performing opportunities, especially to beginners to motivate their interest and even help their academic learning by having an outside interest.
