Brandon Lane
About
Hey! My name is Brandon Lane, I'm a multi-instrumentalist, composer, arranger, and producer/engineer. I've been working professionally as a musician for over 15 years both domestically and internationally, and I have been teaching for about 4 years.
As a full-time musician and producer, I work in a variety of musical styles and settings, including production for media, and I've had the immense pleasure of working with many prominent artists such as Ronnie Laws, Walter Beasley, Warren Wolf, Debórah Bond, Natalie Prass, and various others around the world. Upon completing a jazz studies graduate degree in 2018, I released a self-produced, Top 100 Indie-charting EP in 2019 entitled OLDSOULMUSIC to rave reviews, and in March 2021, I achieved my first #1 Billboard listing as co-writer and co-producer of the hit smooth jazz single "Too Tuff" by Freddie Fox. Above all, I really enjoy sharing what I've learned and developed over the years with others to empower and encourage their evolution!
I cater to the individual student's goals and needs while guiding them along through the development of their skills. We've all been in those private lesson situations where the teacher just prescribes a handful of boring exercises with no real context - that's not the vibe here. The lesson experience is tailor-made to each student and incorporates their musical interests while incorporating helpful and relevant building blocks to reach their desired achievements. I'm a passionate musician and teacher with a deep love for this craft and I'm excited to share that with you.
