Carlos Garibaldi
About
Hello my name is Carlos Garibaldi
My experience covers various styles and techniques, including classical guitar, jazz guitar, Latin guitar, and flamenco. To more modern forms of music, RnB, pop, rock, funk, fusion.
I have done jazz big band, combo, big band, including rock bands, and RnB groups.
I teach because I believe that music is a great vehicle for self-improvement, learning how to be resilient, learning about teamwork, and we can learn how to be goal-oriented I find passion in helping individuals embrace their unique musical journey no matter the age or equipment they have.
Teaching Style
My teaching style is flexible and is tailored to the goals and needs of my students. New students can expect for the first lesson to be about getting to know you, what do you know? what experience do you have or not have? What music do you like? what would you like to accomplish? From there all students learn fundamental techniques in the form of daily warm-ups to prevent injury and to increase musical and physical ability over their instrument. All students get a practice log and we try to learn one song on our first lesson to get our journey started working together.
I provide all lesson materials and references needed to accomplish the goals at hand.
Students with more experience can expect a similar process and we will focus on building your skill set from where you left off and anything that may have been missed in the process. I welcome all students that are ready to jump in on guitar, bass, and keys!
