About
I have my Bachelor's in music, with a primary in voice. I have a deep passion to teach others how to discover their own voices and how to grow in that. I enjoy helping people learn what they are interested in, discovering their voices, and finding their niche. It is very exciting when a student finds what they enjoy singing and what fits their voice well. It really boosts the confidence of a singer when they can find what their best at. Whether it's through vocal exercises, repertoire exploration, or performance coaching, I thrive on empowering my students to unlock their full potential and embrace the joy of making music.
Teaching Style
I shift my teaching style is completely based upon how the student learns. Every student learns in different ways and at different paces. My teaching style is based upon what makes the student more comfortable, and what helps them to learn the best. After teaching students with all different paces and learning styles, I have found it to be more helpful for the teacher to mold to the student, rather than the student to the teacher. I respect all students regardless of learning pace/style. Each person learns differently, and finding that pace is part of the fun!
