Carolyn Knott

Currently, I am working as an EFL teacher in northeastern China, but I do teach other subjects here, such as mathematics and computer literacy. I graduated from my beloved Alma Mater with a bachelor's degree in Psychology, minor in English. My favorite books are Jack London's White Fang, Charlotte Brontë's Jane Eyre, and Fyodor Dostoevsky's The Brothers Karamazov. I'm a cat person, though I do like big dogs, too. In my spare time, I like to cook, paint, and study German.

During the first class, I will assess the student's needs and level of proficiency, then work towards achieving the student's goals at a pace that is comfortable for them. I am TEFL certified; I've taken and passed courses on teaching English online, to young students, and to business students. During the first class, I will assess student needs and current level of proficiency. For other areas of study (math, science, etc), I was a tutor for several years between middle school and university, and have continued to pick up the odd class now and then.
