My teaching philosophy is very simple. I’ve been given the wonderful gift of music and I love to share that passion of music making with others.

I enjoy teaching and coaching advanced high school and college students.  A typical lesson focuses on concepts, scale work, etudes and repertoire. I encourage students to analyze their own performance in order to engage all of their senses.

I love to unlock a student’s potential and see them grow through goal setting. Music is an aural art and a high sense of detail is the ultimate goal when studying with me.

Technology can be used to our advantage and I’m available for in-person or on-line lessons.  If you are looking for coaching and career consultation I am also happy to discuss that as an option too.
