About

Charity Lockhart

Vocal Coach | Recording Artist | AGT Golden Buzzer Artist | Vocal Wellness Advocate

Charity Lockhart is an internationally acclaimed vocalist, vocal coach, and wellness advocate whose powerful five-octave range, whistle tones and emotionally rich performances have moved audiences across the world. From cruise ship main stages of Celebrity cruises, Seabourn, Crystal cruises and multiple other lines, to America’s Got Talent television audiences of millions, Charity’s voice is known not only for its technical excellence but for its ability to heal, inspire, and tell the truth.

Her journey has been anything but ordinary. As a single mother who once experienced homelessness while pursuing music, Charity performed wherever she could in clubs, competitions, and community events, often with her children waiting nearby. That resilience shaped her artistry and her mission: to use music as a tool for empowerment, confidence, and transformation.

Brand Motto: Live to Love, Love to Live

Charity’s Mission

Charity’s mission is to help singers find their true voice, not just vocally, but personally. She believes that when the voice is free, the person is free and that singing can be a gateway to healing, confidence, and purpose.

Teaching Style

Charity teaches from the belief that the voice is an athletic instrument and an emotional mirror. Her approach blends elite vocal technique, breathwork, mindfulness, and lifestyle coaching, creating well-rounded singers who are both vocally strong and personally grounded.

Her teaching is:

Technique-Driven

Students learn proper breath support, resonance, control, range expansion, stamina, and vocal protection which is essential for live performance, touring, studio work, and long-term career sustainability.

Mind–Body–Voice Integrated

Charity incorporates meditation, affirmations, nervous system regulation, and mindset coaching to help singers overcome fear, tension, and self-doubt.

Wellness-Centered

As a vocal health advocate, she emphasizes hydration, sleep, nutrition, herbal support, and recovery because a healthy voice begins with a healthy body.

Performance-Focused

Lessons include stage presence, emotional delivery, audition prep, mic technique, storytelling, and performance confidence, especially valuable for TV competitions, live shows, and professional gigs.

Trauma-Informed & Encouraging

Having lived through hardship herself, Charity creates a safe, supportive space where students feel seen, heard, and empowered to fully express their voice without shame or fear.
