About
Chinedu Sunday Onyenweokwu is my name. I received my bachelor's degree in chemistry from Imo State University Owerri. Because I am passionate about music, I enrolled in a diploma course in music at the University of Lagos, as well as professional exams such as the ABRSM on Saxophone and Theory of Music. I've been a musician and music teacher for over 20 years. I've been teaching music professionally for ten years. I've taught students from all over the world to play the piano, saxophone, clarinet, and music theory at both the beginner and intermediate levels. I have taken and prepared students for ABRSM exams, and I have a 95% pass rate with Distinctions and Merits. I currently teach music at a British school in Lagos.
Teaching Style
I can teach both classical and contemporary form of music.
Curriculum
For Saxophone and Clarinet text, I recommend "A New Tune A Day" Book 1 and 2 for beginners. Other texts includes: Practical saxophone and Practical Clarinet by Otto Langey, The art of Saxophone playing ny Larry Teal, Daily warm-up exercises for saxophone by Jackie MacLean, The art of clarinet playing by Keith Stein.
