About
Mezzo-Soprano, notable choral performances include Carnegie Hall, Joffrey Ballet of Chicago, Kennedy Center, Windy City Live and much more! I have an Associates of Fine Arts in Music Degree from Harper College and working towards a Bachelor of Music Education degree from Northeastern Illinois University. I currently teach private vocal, ukulele, and beginner's piano lessons. When I'm not teaching private lessons, I am the director of the choir at the Kimberlyrics Music Lessons Studios where I teach! As a creative director here at the studio it's my job to keep the ideas for new projects going and I bring that same creativity and fun to every lesson!
Teaching Style
Lessons with me are fun, down to earth, and always customized to whomever I am working with! I love getting to know a student and then formulating the best method of teaching so that they learn quickly. I believe that small accomplishments throughout the process lead to long term results! My lessons are designed to be a safe place for students to challenge themselves and explore their individuality with their voices.
Curriculum
Each student will have recommended texts based on their instrument, voice part, style, or general subject. Each student will be given recommendations during their first or second lesson.
My teaching method will accommodate all learning styles. My lessons are a collaborative environment and will provide flexibility, discipline, and fun!
