Hello and welcome all!
My name is Cody Limb and I have played the Alto and Tenor Saxophone for seven amazing years, and I cannot wait to share what I've learned playing this wonderful instrument with you. Even If you do not have this instrument and would like to learn how to read and compose music, I can surely help with that as well. Thank you all for giving me a chance to teach one of my passions!
Teaching Style
I teach what many people call the blocking method. If you are in theater you may have heard of it. The blocking method is simply starting with one simple measure and adding on to it until the student can play, sing, or read the entire phrase, measure, or song. It has been proven to be the most affective way of teaching and many students find success in it!
Credentials & Affiliations
I have played for 3 Bands and have won sweepstakes two times in the state of Texas. I played in one Jazz band as well for one year and taught a beginner Alto Saxophone class for another, and it got me hooked!
