About

I’m an internationally touring fiddler, composer, and teacher.  I play styles ranging from Swing to Folk to Gypsy Jazz to Celtic and lots of other World musics. I'm a working musician, and have spent several years constantly on tour since graduating  from the Berklee College of Music. (Postponed due to Coronavirus.) and have also passionately taught music both 1 on 1 and in group courses since I was 15.

As an instructor I help students dive deep into whatever they’re most interested in, from the ground floor of technique and music theory, to repertoire and genre authenticity, to improvisation and distilling one’s personal style. I also teach how to play in a group, how to organize a project, and how to book one’s own shows/tours. I teach with a very focused approach and can help students of any level excel.

Bachelor's degree in Songwriting from the Berklee College of Music. I've played 1000+ shows, and have taught 100s of lessons.
I've toured the U.S extensively with Snaps for Sinners: https://snapsforsinners.com/ (currently on hiatus with all summer dates cancelled due to Coronavirus)
And I was also on 13 week EU tour (which got cut short) this spring with Three for Silver https://threeforsilver.com/

Notable venues and festivals I've played at over the years include (In California) The Great American Music Hall, The Arena Theater, The Sequoia Room (one of the highest rated jazz clubs in the U.S) The Phoenix Theater, Railroad Square Music Festival, Rivertown Revival Music Festival and SF Free Folk Fest. Out of California venues and festivals include The Esquire Jazz Club, Red Bicycle Music Hall, Seaside Repertory Theater, Outland Ballroom, Sh'Bang Festival, River Roots Fest and Cincinnati Fall Fest.

I've have 5 albums that represent my work, these two being the most recent:
