About

Mrs. Damaris Thillet is a passionate educator and musician (Vocalist, Composer, Choir Conductor, Sacred Music Composer).  She was born and raised in Puerto Rico and has been featured as a sacred music vocalist and composer. Her music compositions have been published by the two major publishers in the United States, GIA, and Oregon Catholic Press Publications.

Her CD recordings were published by GIA and OCP Publishers. Damaris was the director and founder of an after-school Music Education in the Archdiocese of Philadelphia and National Association of Latino Church Musicians in the United States.

Even though she was classically trained at Temple University in Philadelphia; Damaris possesses a wide multicultural musical knowledge and experience which are reflected on her sacred music compositions. Including music and styles from the Caribbean, Mexico, and South America. She was able to receive additional vocal training with reknowned vocal professors such as the talented and deceased Baritone, Carlos Serrano, Susan Pabon, and Susan Munzer.
