About
Hello Everyone,
- I have a bachelors degree in music with a specification in piano performance from Florida Atlantic University. During my time there I studied under the guidance of Leonid Treer, Dr. Edward Turgeon and Dr. Judith Burganger.
- Had a private music studio for over one year. I hosted my own music studio, teaching ages ranging from 6 years old to 40 years old.
- Been playing piano for over 20 years, most of these years with private lessons.
- Involved with over 3 music bands. I started off in a youth worship band at Calvary Chapel Plantation playing the piano, then went on to being the main keyboard player in a class geared toward band performance at Florida Atlantic University, then became one of the lead vocalists of Calvary Chapel Fort Lauderdale, a church of 30,000 people.

Teaching Style
My teaching style is a collaborative one!
- I focus on the students goals of what they want out of their learning, However, I also give them direction based on their personal goals.
- I love an environment of open communication. I want the student to know they have a voice and they can tell me when things aren't going how they want, or, they are!
- I am a pusher and a challenger. I have realized that when I was receiving lessons from teachers that I needed them to push me, it was always rewarding and I seek to exemplify the same.
Curriculum
The curriculum will vary based on the students goals and desires. Many times I have heard that teachers come in to the lessons with already set goals and activities that shut the student down. The reason that they are shut down is because they are not doing what they want, or achieving their goals and they are not enjoying the instrument. That is why I...
- Host a meeting with the student before I become their teacher
- Talk about their goals
- Give advice and goals of my own based on their heart for wanting to learn the instrument
- The student can then decide if they want me as their teacher
