About

I am a classically trained singer and Music graduate with over 15 years of experience in both performance and teaching. My musical journey began at the age of 9, and since then I have performed in operas, zarzuelas, and choral concerts in some of Colombia’s most renowned venues. I hold a Bachelor's degree in Music from Universidad Central and a diploma in Professional Voice. Over the years, I’ve performed as a soloist in recitals and concerts, showcasing a diverse repertoire ranging from early music to romantic opera. I have worked with esteemed ensembles such as the Bogotá Opera Chorus and the Camerata Barroca de Bogotá, as well as participated in major productions with the National Philharmonic Choir.

Teaching Style

As a teacher, I offer personalized lessons in voice, flute, and piano for students of all levels and backgrounds. My teaching experience spans children, adults, and individuals with disabilities, in both Colombia and Canada. I’ve taught in institutions such as Vidaart Academia, WIMA, and currently teach remotely with Wiingy.

My approach is inclusive, supportive, and tailored to each student's needs and goals. I focus on building strong musical foundations, developing healthy technique, and nurturing confidence and artistic expression. Whether you're just beginning your vocal journey or preparing for an audition, I'm here to guide you with passion, patience, and professionalism.

Let’s make music together—your voice has so much to offer!

Curriculum

My teaching approach is personalized, supportive, and focused on building a strong technical foundation while encouraging musical expression. I adapt lessons to each student’s goals, whether they are beginners or more advanced. In voice lessons, we focus on posture, vocal technique, musical phrasing, and interpretation, with exercises that promote a healthy and flexible voice. I also offer guidance on repertoire, performance, and audition preparation.

For piano and flute students, I focus on developing proper technique, musical literacy, and expressive playing through structured yet engaging lessons. I aim to create a positive and inclusive learning environment where students of all ages and abilities feel motivated and confident.

  • Voice: Vaccai – Metodo Pratico di Canto, selected art songs, arias, and personalized repertoire based on the student's level and interests.

  • Piano: Piano Adventures by Faber & Faber (all levels).

  • Flute: Suzuki Flute School, beginner method books, and selected solo repertoire tailored to the student's progress.
