About

Danielle Sopchak is a NYC-based flutist and multi-instrumentalist. Known first for her vibrant flute playing, Danielle is a performer, educator and arranger. She strives to bring the flute into the forefront of improvisational music. Though currently based in NYC, she is an active member of the Nashville Jazz scene.

​Danielle is co-founder of Nashville Women in Jazz; an organization of support dedicated to promoting, and networking between female jazz musicians in the community. She works for the Nashville Jazz Workshop, a non-profit for jazz education, as social media coordinator and assistant jazz camp director.​​

Danielle is currently pursing her M.M in Jazz Performance at the Aaron Copland School of Music.

Lessons with Danielle Sopchak are individually created to help each student achieve their unique goals. Technique, sound and rhythm are the basis of every lesson. We learn these skills through genre specific musical language and performance confidence.​
